We are very happy with the first; purchased for our daughter when she was 4 months. She is now 2yrs and still loves using this. This second seat was purchased for our son; he is almost 4 months and wanting to sit on his own. The cover and straps are removable so they can be washed. The trays are very easily washed. It was portable, straps to pretty much any chair and super easy to use and clean. Can use just on the ground or on a chair. I am now using the old one as a booster seat for my eldest and we purchased this one for her little sister! The strap clips did break on all the straps, but we contacted safety first and they are sending us replacements.
