I was very impressed that all three of them sat with these for a full hour. They had a blast breaking them open to find out what was inside. I admit that the final prize is kind of like what you get out of the quarter machines at the grocery store though. You get 5 safes and a hammer to get to mystery prizes. I was skeptical at first on it not knowing what to expect from the contents inside. I was a little disappointed in learning after opening that you dont just bash open the safe to break into it which would have been more satisfying and I think kids would have gotten more of a kick out of it. You open the door to the safe revealing perforated card board in which you hit with hammer to reveal hidden contents inside. Items that you get from the safes I would reccomend for 3-6 year olds as they are not toys that older kids would keep playing with as they are not so entertaining and keep them attentive with the toys. The only items from this that my kids enjoyed was slime and sticker. Pros - Can see buying these for kids birthday party as party favors for fun surprise. Since you dont bash and break the safes apart, they are good for reusing for other toys to use as actual safes, so these have some future use and will last. The slime and stickers are a plus to the toys that are inside. Fun to bash but for only a couple minutes to reveal your surprise. Cons - Hammer might be over the top since you are only breaking thin card board to get to surprise inside. I get the concept of it, but could save production or money by not making or providing the hammer. Only good for maybe 3-6 year old age groups. He immediately recognized Ryan on the package because he is a huge fan of his YouTube channels, so that got him super excited right off the bat. He had so much fun opening the safes and smashing them with the little hammer. He was so excited to see what suprises were inside! The little surprise toys that were inside each safe were awesome! My son goes crazy for those sticky hands and always asks for one any time he sees them out and about at stores. And the googly eyes were really cool - they are HUGE!!! He loves to stick them on his toys, and was super happy because he had never seen any that big. And the slime, well that's always a hit with any kid. It also came with a Ryan figurine and a little red monster. And the safes are made of a really sturdy plastic, so he's been playing with those everyday as well. When they open, they reveal a paper covering that the child &quot;smashes&quot;, but after that you can still play with the safe and it still opens and closes with the very sturdy plastic &quot;doors&quot;. I honestly don't know which part was more fun for him, opening them or playing with the toys inside, as well as the safes themselves. It's been over a week, and he's still playing daily with the safes and figurines. I am so suprised how many hours of enjoyment he's gotten out of this toy. I think this is an awesome and quality toy and I will definitely be getting another one soon for my son because he enjoyed this one so much. If your child watches YouTube at at all, they will get immediately excited upon seeing Ryan on the package. And these are quality toys, so this isn't an open one time and that's it - your child can continue to play with the safes themselves as well as the toys inside. Overall, it is great fun for them. It came with 5 safes with surprises and one sledgehammer for cracking it. Some of the toys are figurines and others are slime packets. PROS: My son knows &ldquo;Ryan&rdquo; in character from watching videos online, so seeing this guy on a toy&rsquo;s package gave him delight. The act of sledge hammering the safe made it really fun for the kids; my husband joined in. The safe itself is made of hard plastic so it will not break easily. The safe can also be used as a &ldquo;toy&rdquo; after the cracking of the safe. The toys inside was cute. There are 30 variety of toys that your child can find. Mine didn&rsquo;t care about finding toys as they were more excited about cracking the safe. The toys were definitely a bonus. CONS: The safe was hard to crack. The kids kept banging the top. What you&rsquo;re supposed to do was open the safe and then crack it. The seal was a piece of card board paper. The toys tend to be small as safes are small, so I would watch out for smaller children. We first received the safes and the packaging was very eye catching and clear. The product contained 5 safes and a plastic hammer type device to crack open the safes. Each safe contained a different type toy within it. My kids were slightly confused at first on where to hit the safes in order to &quot;crack&quot; them open but then realized you had to unlatch the safe first then hit the paper covering the toys inside. Both my boys were excited to try to open the safe but I think it was geared more for younger kids and was perfect for my 5 year old. One of the toys inside contained a sticky hand which they both liked. The safes and little hammer were super cute and opened easily and each one had a different toy. Slime and an action figure were two of them out of the five. I would have given 5 stars but the slime was too watery to play with unfortunately. She (like most kids) is really into Ryan's World and various surprise/blind bag type toys. At first she tried to use the hammer to break apart the cube but quickly discovered the hammer is meant to open the inside barrier, which is like a thick paper. She thought breaking open the cubes was extra exciting for a surprise item toy. I thought the &ldquo;experience&rdquo; was much better than me having to open plastic bags for her and I appreciated that it resulted in less waste. Her cubes included a mini Ryan figure, a sticky slap hand, a ring, stickers, and a slingshot toy. Personally, I was a bit underwhelmed by the prizes inside, but my daughter was not. I think she was so excited by the overall toy that what was inside the actual cubes was mostly irrelevant. I must say, the little cubes are super cute! I was really impressed with the quality and the detail on each of them. They're made of thick plastic and have weathered 100 opening and closings like a champ. All of the prizes have been used or disappeared into whatever black hole eats small toys, but she still plays with the cubes regularly. The area to hit was made of thin allowing for easy puncture. I loved how this got my child into being hands on. It allowed her to work with the hammer and find the surprise waiting for her, by herself. Even though it was easy, some took a few more hit before opening. My child smiled with each swing of the hammer and didn't stop until the last surprise box. These fun vibrant boxes were a blast. Only wish is for a way the boxes itself could be reused.
