She loved the Rubble figure (great collectible), and the Kinetic sand. She never got into the drilling/making holes. After a few rounds of cutting, she was over the set and started playing with the Kinetic sand on its own. The control platform where Rubble sits isnt very interactive. Eventually my kid used it as a mold for the Kinetic sand. The Kinetic sand in itself is hard for a 3 y.o to push down into the log mold. I think playing with this set needs to be supervised with a parent who can help with switching the pieces (drill/miter saw), pressing down the Kinetic sand, even resetting the conveyor belt. When pushing back Rubbles platform/resetting the conveyor belt, it would get stuck, so it kind of kills the flow of play. Another thing I noticed was the is sand that gets stuck when you use the cutter option, and the cutter isnt always aligned with the base. For me this spin master toy my little one will play again and again, so far its been more than one week and still it works like a charm!! He loves the toy and has not gotten tired of it after days and hours of playing with it. His imagination runs wild cutting and drilling in to the kinetic sand. Its actually fun to watch him as he cuts and drills in to blocks of sand to create parts for whatever hes building... which is anything from a house, to a dam, and even a funny looking car. The setup instructions where a bit difficult to follow and removal of the saw or drill attachment is very very difficult (needs adult assistance) for the first several uses. Overall its a winner though, Rubbles Workshop made it in to the special play tent and I can see that it will be used there for a while to come. Quick note to say that the included kinetic sand is very clean and safe, the toy its self is also very safe as the parts are not sharp and too big to swallow. He was super excited when he first saw the toy and couldnt wait to play with it! After some quick assembly, my little guy was able to do everything on his own - mold the kinetic sand to the log mold, flip it on to the conveyer belt and then start cutting using the lever. He preferred the saw attachment to the drilling holes. Overall a great and simple toy for kids 3+. It is however, very tricky to move the tray, that rubble sits in, back once it is finished being cut into pieces. It is also hard to change between the drill bit and the saw. As a fan of construction, working alongside my favorite PAW Patrol pup, Rubble, is a ton of fun. Practical construction experiences are provided by the toy drill and mobile miter saw. Kids may mold logs and building blocks for imaginative building projects with the Kinetic Build-It sand, which is an excellent sensory play. The presence of a Rubble action figure encourages more creative play. The imaginary building environment can be further expanded with other Rubble &amp; Crew construction truck toys, characters, and playsets. My son throughly enjoys playing with this toy, its a mix of kinetic sand and paw patrol characters built into 1.
