Its also a great bonus that the amount of sand perfectly fits in the toy container! He loves the characters and the other toys that came with it. However the sand was extremely disappointing. It was hard as rock. So his little hands were struggling. I tried to knead it to soften it up... That did not work. So he lost interest pretty fast. While the toy itself is great and the usual wonderful quality that paw patrol characters have been in. The past. The whole point of this kit was to dig and cut and pile the sand. He will definitely use the characters in our real sand but to purchase because of the kinetic sand ... I thought that Charger was supposed to be Rubble and they messed up the colours. Then I looked it up online and realized that this toy is from the Paw Patrol spin-off show called 'Rubble and Crew'. We didn't watch this show yet, so I wasn't surprised that my daughter didn't get too excited about this toy. The two pups are cute and well made, but I wish at least their heads could turn. The shovel and &quot;toolbox&quot; bucket work nicely, they're small but usable, but the wheel cutter is made too thick and doesn't cut too well. The amount of kinetic sand included is laughable, and it was lucky that we had more on hand. I would only recommend this toy if your child loves the spin-off show. For us, it wasn't that fun to play with, and my daughter gave up on it quickly. My child was totally geeked to get a chance to review this toy for free and give his honest opinion on it. The characters that came in the kit were 2 new ones for him (charger &amp; wheeler) so he was pleased right away with that, then the fact that this came with magic sand made him even more thrilled (me too, less mess). When he went to remove the magic sand from the container came in and It didn't really want to budge but finally came out in a clump. He attempted to use the shovel provided with the kit to dig in it and got a little frustrated as it was hard to dig up and had more of a playdough consistency. Normally magic sand is soft and it kind of pulls apart, but it wasn't the case with this one. It was really tough, even him pulling it with his hands seemed a little difficult. Overall, I think the concept of the toy is really cute and my son did enjoy it for brief periods at a time. After opening the contents they both started to play with it immediately and loved making bricks with the kinetic sand. After about 5 minutes my older son got a little bored and went on to play with something else. My younger son, went and grabbed the rest of his paw patrol figurines and continued playing with the new toy for close to an hour. My daughter was so surprised and excited to play with it. She invited her Skye toy to join in the fun and is now obsessed with her new &quot;Mixy&quot; pup. We made some bricks and used the roller to make some paw prints. Then she made paw prints using the pups' feet and built a snow man with the kinetic sand. At first I thought the kinetic sand seemed a little hard, but it worked really well with the tools and wasn't messy like other sands I've purchased. The pack comes with a container for storing the sand which is convenient. It is a fun pretend play toy and my daughter used her imagination and built on her imagination using the kinetic sand and the characters. Both the characters are designed and built well and they look exactly as seen on television. My daughter loved playing with the kinetic sand and re-creating scenes from the Paw Patrol series. I love the storage box provided with the play set, it is a great add on to store the kinetic sand once play time is done. The tools provided to build are helpful and add a fun element in creating things as well as pretending to dig during a pretend rescue mission. What I would have loved would have been some more colors of kinetic sand added onto this play set as well as some moulds to create things that could be used as part of the pretend play. All in all my daughter had a great time playing with it and best part the sand is not messy as I expected it to be.
