It hovers well and tilts to the left and right easily. But if you want to turn the plane left and right it is more challenging. The left joy stick in the remote controls the altitude up and down but is also used to control turning the plane left or right. Charging it was very easy and only took 2 hours so not long to wait at all. The remote control was easy to use even for my son but it did by take a bit of practice as this was their first time with a drone. Upon first launching it past 10 feet, the drone lifted off and was too hard to control. It landed on a roof and they were not able to retrieve it back. So this lasted for about 5 minutes. There was practically zero wind on this day so my theory is the styrofoam makes this drone too light and too easily carried by very small bursts of wind. I&rsquo;m not sure why we were not able to retrieve it back with the remote. Appearance wise it is cool looking and if you happened to hit one of the pellars it doesn't hurt but they break easy. The drone comes with extra pillars so if it breaks you can change them out. It has a charger that you use either with a charger adapter or charge by USB ports. The kids, especially my husband had a blast flying this thing around the yard. We have a big open yard and the drone was able to fly above the 2 story house. It has a red LED light which would make it fun to navigate in the dark. It took a little while to figure out how to control it because of all the buttons, but in no time at all, the drone was flying high! We were able to easily do stunts such as barrel rolls. The drone is made of a durable foam making it lightweight and able to fly high. It also has spinning wheels to assist with landing. This comes with a charging cable and replacement propellers in case of an accident. It was set up and ready to be put on the charger. Charging for the first time was also very simple and easy to understand. The feel of the drone led me to believe that it would break fairly easily, as it feels very very thin, lightweight and kind of flimsy. Once charged and able to fly it for the first time, I realized I was wrong. The jet has been through trees, bushes, crash landings, etc and still has held up amazing. The controls look pretty straight forward on the control, but once you start flying, it's a bit rough for the first few times. The drone is so lightweight, so it moves VERY quickly with the touch of any controls. The directions for flying controls are pretty straightforward as well. You just have to learn the touchiness of each control. The one thing I think could be improved is the fly time. The drone lasts only 5 or 10 minutes on a full charge. While it does charge decently quick, I think tge fly time could be a bit longer. It gets kind of frustrating when you have to constantly charge it for just a few minutes of fly time. It's a little tricky at first figuring out all the controls and how to properly fly it without crashing it into something or the ground . Once you get the hang off it it makes for a good day. My suggestion use a place with plenty of room to practice and inside a house is not a good option . Having replacement blades for it was a nice feature beings my little one crashed it into the side of the house and broke the tip off one . Replacing the blades are easy and takes about a minute to do . Charging it fully up doesn't take to long a little more than an hour I say. It is unique and just fantastic to look at. It takes off and lands nicely. It has a learning curve, as I suspect all drones would, for flying and doing flips/turns. It is lightweight foam material. I flew mine in the house and it is fun with vaulted ceilings. One drawback is that it has to sync from jet to remote every time you turn it on. It is easy to fly and fun to maneuver. The controls take a little bit of time to get the hang of, but after you get used to the controls it is so much fun to fly around and hover around all sorts of things. My only mild complaint is that it doesn't fly long before it needs to be charged, but it does charge pretty quickly. I recommend not bringing it out on a windy day. It took me a while to get used to the controls. I did have quit a few crashes, but once I got the hang of it there was no stopping me. It takes a lil while to charge but once you&rsquo;re done, you&rsquo;re ready to fly! After the first couple of failed attempts, I got the hang of it and boy does this jet fly! I suggest an open field like a school playground or park to avoid trees and power lines! The jet itself is about 14 inches long and 10 inches wide! It is made of styrofoam like material with plastic spinning wings (comes with extras also). The LED light up red and the landing wheels spin to assist landing on hard surfaces. We haven&rsquo;t had a chance yet to do all the features on the remote but it is going to be a lot of fun doing it all. We did fly it straight up and it was quick and then we flew it sideways. The neighbors dog didn&rsquo;t like it so much and started barking at it which set off their baby crying- ooops- sorry! But the jet makes a low buzzing/humming sound which just adds to it in a positive manner. It is very lightweight so try to avoid hard crashes! Can&rsquo;t wait to get a chance to try it out at the play ground! His face lite up soon as he seen it and he has been having a grand time outside playing with it. It is very sturdy and well put together. No little parts to worry about and the colors are amazing. This is one of his new favorite toys per him. I like that it doesn't make a lot of noise and that it's easy for a 7 year old to operate.
