This little fuzzy journal is adorable! It has a lock on it,when you open it a little surprise pouch with surprises inside. It comes with a little pad of paper inside. The little ears add character to the animal fuzzy on the front. She loves this little journal! I realize its a bit of a puzzle by design, but she struggled to figure out how to open and get it going. Additionally, once opened, she felt like most of the surprises were just &quot;paper&quot;. I came back a few minutes later and she had just walked away and left it....on to other more exciting things. It really is little and it's so adorable! There's a string attached to the book. Match it with the piece that's on top of the book and turn it. This will open up the piece. Inside, is the keys to open it up. Put the key in my and turn. This opens it up. Inside, there's a cute compartment on the left that has a zipper on it. On the right, there is a small little notebook so that you can write down all of your secrets! My little girl enjoyed the journal book. It's perfect for her.
