We have used it for a year, only in the first &quot;stage&quot;. To start, the handle the adult uses to push the tricycle will slowly slide back down, and I have to constantly re-lengthen it. The tricycle was missing a critical part when we opened the box, and we had to wait several weeks to get it in the mail. Steering the tricycle is difficult, because the wheel is not able to be tightly attached, so when you steer, the handle and front wheel will go out-of-sync with each other. I've even had the front wheel's red cover go completely sideways, and I fixed it by literally kicking it back into place. It was not easy to put together, because everything is cheap plastic and doesn't fit securely together. My son was about 1 year old when we started using it, and he did not fit into it. His knees were constantly hitting the tray. In fairness to Radio Flyer, he was measuring 99th for height. Even so, I feel like it's too small for the average infant/toddler who would be using it at that stage. The back trunk is nice, but it's too shallow for much of anything. I can put a toddler sweater in it. Maybe my phone. But that's about it. And the lid flap moves so easily that if you hit a bump, whatever you have inside will probably fall out. I'm getting ready to remove parts so I can use the &quot;next stage&quot; this summer, but I honestly can't see my son using this as an actual tricycle. It's just so hard to steer, and it's so cheap. It's a real shame. Customer service was great when I had to get the missing part, though. His feet do not fit on the foot rest his legs are folded high and knees are uncomfortably touching that grey support tool that he still needs because he&rsquo;s too small. The sun visor doesn&rsquo;t do a good job blocking the sun. The basket in the back is no good for nothing. The handle is very flimsy and a struggle to push and turn. For sum reason he slips off the seat and is sliding to one side even with the straps on. There is one thing I don't like at all and that is the foot rest. His legs are too long to rest up on the top like the infant in the pictures. But putting them in a bent almost kneeling position like the toddler in the photos looks weird and seems uncomfortable. So he tries to stick them out but then his poor little leg is pressing on the edge of the foot rest. I don't know why they made the foot rest like this. We tried it without but his feet can touch the wheels so it's no good. Firstly, putting it together was a process but i was able to do it by myself. Second, i was disappointed to find that the safety bars ONLY work when the seat is in the first position. So, because the seat had to be in second position, my son was falling side to side. He also had a hard time sitting up because of how the seat is shaped. Third, the &quot;adjustable&quot; seat could have been designed better. Switching the seat positions was just as hard as putting the whole rest of the trike together. Its only redeeming quality was the parent steering handle, it worked better than i expected it to.
