I am disappointed that the seat upon opening will not stay up and open for little hands to place objects into the underneath compartment. This is why I gave it four stars instead of five. From my past experiences with little ones, I know that is a very desirable feature! He has, however, had the very unfortunate experience of opening the seat compartment just enough to get a tiny finger inside, just before sitting down. It&rsquo;s awfully easy to get fingers crushed in there under the baby&rsquo;s own weight. Please be advised that kids need to be watched around this design flaw. The Busy Buggy is great! My 1-year old son likes riding it, honking the horn and playing with the plastic ignition and gas cap. His feet reach the ground and he is able to propel himself. When the back bar is fully extended, it&rsquo;s easy for me to bend over a little to push him along. My baby is fascinated by the seat storage inside of the buggy but so far still needs my assistance to open it. The large gray plastic piece underneath on the back is a fantastic feature that helps to stabilize it when he pulls himself up to walk. Since he is still learning how to walk, I was a little nervous he would flip it upwards, tip over or fall but he hasn&rsquo;t had any problems. I haven&rsquo;t seen any push buggys with similar back stops so this is very well-designed. That being said, the buggy is very lightweight! The first few times he walked with it across our hardwood floor, he practically flew across the room. Once he had a better idea of how to balance it he figured out how to control his speed. He is tall for his age (more than 30 inches) and is confident standing up so that places the back bar at a comfortable height below his chest. If he were still in the early stages of walking I would probably add some weight inside of the seat to slow it down a little and stabilize it more. With all of the fun toys on the front of the buggy, I think this is a great toy for a baby to grow with. She loves all of the colorful areas to engage with the Buggy including the folding side mirrors and honking horn. She discovered you can hide items under the seat and has been particularly interested in hiding her sandbox toys in it. She likes to use it by either sitting down on it and walking it around or pushing it from behind like a wagon.She wishes the wheel turned so she could steer it more easily while riding it but that may not be feasible with this product.
