I previously bought the baby brezza thinking the one touch steam and blend feature was where it's at, except it didn't actually pur&eacute;e her food. I tried multiple ways but there were always chunks. I traded in for this machine and am blown away at how beautifully it pur&eacute;es and steams her food. The machine is pretty small for as much as it does so it will not be a counter hog. Easy to use. The pictures and video are of me making some simple steamed carrots. Just place water in the back container - which also serves to heat up bottles. Place the diced food into the steamer basket, which is then placed into the solid plastic container with the locking orange lid on. It is placed onto the machine and the steam button is pushed. You can adjust the time up or down from the standard 15 minutes. Once steamed, transfer the steamed food from the steamer basket into the solid plastic basket, place the plastic cover, and then the orange locking cover on. Place onto the machine again and then press manual blend or auto blend. Once blended, the food is good to go. You can add water to make the blended food softer or you can mix foods. Most commercially prepared baby foods go heavy on apple sauce to sweeten foods, you can make your own apple sauce to add to your foods as well. The machine has a cleaning cycle on the top which will clean all the pieces. My quook does everything - heats, blends, and cleans itself, and ALSO has the bottle warmer as an added feature. Its makes a big difference as its one less appliance on my counter.
