I have dabbled with many kinds of writing calligraphy being a big one which is kind of what I thought this product was more geared too but once opened up that is not the case. Although has an awesome pen for it the others are just standard. Especially the thicker. I found it kind of rough using them. The fill in marker is cool but pretty much a sharpie. I would say the pens/pencils write good and still inked up. I decided to try these Scholar color pencils from Prismacolor. I love the color variations you get in the pack, the colors are somewhat vibrant. They're smooth and they blend and layer nicely. These pencils are easy to sharpen and seem very durable. The case they come in can be used as a stand as well which is nice.
