There was indeed a twist. We are true crime fanatics so this was a very interesting and exciting game. My daughters and I played and we enjoyed our time together. We indeed felt like detectives and investigators. We had debates and a good time. This game was well put together and thought out. The clues and materials are very well-made and fun to examine. It took us a little over an hour to solve, but I could see it taking a couple hours if you were playing by yourself or with people who aren't as practiced in this theme.
