She has the smaller Polly Pocket sets and was excited to see larger sized dolls. She also liked that the set included a boy doll. The set includes a LOT of items. The clothing items are made from a flexible plastic material. My daughter was a little uncomfortable with the feel at first, but they fit nicely and all of the items have held up well. She did mention that she wished the dolls could sit. Once you put their pants or shorts on, their legs don't bend all the way to sit. As a mom, there are lots of pieces to get lost, but we've placed them in a storage bag to keep them all together. The clothes are made of stretchy material, which is also relatively easy to slide on and off the figures. My youngest (at 5 years old) had no difficulty swapping the outfits. The package box also gives several sample outfit styles for the characters which my child loves to recreate.
