He is absolutely obsessed with any Polly pocket toy. This is an excellent standalone toy, or an addition to others. It has lots of extras that all fit inside. I thought my son who is 4 would love the tiny nature of this toy but his excitement over it was very fleeting. Upon unpackaging, he took each small piece and attempted to attach it but it was ultimately very difficult to figure out or to get the pieces to stay. He got bored with it fast. I attempted to place all the pieces inside and shut the toy for keeping but could not even do that. The polly pocket that I had as a child had minimal unattached pieces and they were easily contained and secured. There are a lot of smaller pieces so trying to keep them together is a challenge but we&rsquo;ll work it the girls have so much fun, kept them busy and it&rsquo;s great the pieces can be used on different pockets. Lots of little activities for Polly to playwith. Love the cute little pizza and table for Polly and friends. The mini bowling alley is fun too. Since there are a lot of items, it can be hard to get them all back in the case when done playing. It makes it a bit frustrating. My six year old loves her Polly pocket. She has played with her set more than any other gifts she received. I love watching her use her imagination while sitting at the table playing. The pieces are tiny, but well made. My kids, ages 4-8, had no complaints picking up the tiny pieces, but it was too small for me! My daughter and I wish that all the pieces fit inside the case to keep it all together neatly, but maybe we just didn't figure out how to do it right. The only downside and the same with any Polly Pocket toy would be that the pieces are so small some are inevitably lost within a day or so.
