I wanted to love it. It would be perfect for my horse loving girl niece. But it just wasn&rsquo;t that fun to play with. The heart pegs limited the way you could place the accessories. The rubber skirt was too difficult to take on and off of the horse, especially for little fingers and the one I received is already cracked out of the package. The inside of the toy super cute to look at, but also disappointing. Maybe because I played with Polly pockets as a girl, the mechanisms are a little rough and most things just move back-and-forth with a finger there&rsquo;s no knob or dials. The accessories painted with the exception of Polly pocket. The only other comment I have is that the horses look like Polly should be able to ride on them and instead she kind of stands on the saddle, which is OK. The package was easy to open and set up. There was no assembly necessary other than putting the top and bottom together. My child did complain that it was hard to keep the purple too-too on unless you keep it shut. She also commented that she wished there was another little person figure with the set. However, we loved that there&rsquo;s 2 horses and multiple play areas within the set. We also love all the little accessory pieces - but be aware if you have younger kids ! The pieces are very small! The horses are cute and it comes with a little coral. Her favorite parts are the little gold trophy and carnival ride. My daughter has zero complaints about this toy. She thinks it&rsquo;s so cute. She likes to set it up to have competitions with the horses. The doll can even ride the horses! She loves to send her up and down on the carnival ride too. And the tiny balloon you can put in her hand is adorable. She loves to invite her other Polly pocket dolls to the party in the disco barn and have dance competitions. She really likes the accessories for the outside of the compact and that there are multiple places to attach the accessories. It adds a whole new level of play. So many possibilities for open ended play. Polly can ride the horses around a rotating ring, award prizes for competition, feed &amp; dress them. She can also go on a chair drop ride, and spin around dancing in a barn! In top of all that, the pony on the outside of the computer can also be dressed up. Her skirt, hat, and apple come off! The quality of this set is great as well. I had no problem assembling it and it has held well up to the repeated opening &amp; closing by my child. All the pieces easily fit within the compact as well. The figure, horses, and trophies lent nicely to a variety of imaginative play including horse shows and competitions. My child did note that the rider should be wearing a helmet, but was still fun. One of my favorite features is that my daughter can fit all of the pieces right inside the compact. She can easily put the whole thing in a backpack or purse and not have the pieces fall out and getting lost. It would be a fun toy to take along on a road trip. It would provide plenty of imaginative play and entertainment. The set comes with two horses and one Polly pocket doll as well as awards for the horses, carrots, etc. When you open up the set, it reminds me of a county fair type of setting. There is a course for the horses to jump through, a little barn that opens up into a dance area, and a fair ride for Polly to ride on. It is adorably designed and very pleasant to look at. Even the compact itself is a horse that you can &ldquo;dress up&rdquo; with a cowgirl hat, apple that will go in it&rsquo;s mouth or on it&rsquo;s hoof or chest and a tutu. If you have young kids in your house, you would want to be careful because the pieces are very tiny. We&rsquo;re from Houston, so the rodeo theme was a big hit! It kept her entertained for about 30 minutes, which is pretty impressive these days. The small pieces were tricky for her to place on the pegs, and I had to help. Even for me, it was hard because everything is so tiny. The little chair that moves up and down was her favorite part, and she&rsquo;s even taken the horse from the set to carry around&mdash;it&rsquo;s small enough to go everywhere with her. The only downside is that the whole setup doesn&rsquo;t stand well on its own, making it a bit awkward to play with. But overall, it&rsquo;s a fun toy and great for her imagination. The quality is so good! The details of Polly&rsquo;s western shirt are adorable. This kept my daughter occupied for about 15-20 minutes. While she usually takes a little longer playing with toys, she grew a little frustrated because the play set kept falling over as it is very top heavy. She has other polly pocket toys that do not fall over like this. That is the only downfall as all of the other features are amazing! there are so many different areas for polly to sit/stand/glide/be lifted. This was different from my daughter&rsquo;s other Polly Pockets because this set comes with accessories that are used dress up the outside of your Polly Pocket. She especially loved the tutu that goes on the pony! The inside of the compact is adorable and there is so much to do! My daughter loved taking the doll and her horses for a spin, putting the horses in the stable for a snack, and also having a dance party in the barn. This kept my daughter occupied all afternoon and is wonderful for pretend play. All the pieces store easily into the compact for quick clean-up.
