Unfortunately, the small parts are easily lost and it is challenging to keep track of the parts (even though I coached my daughter to keep all the parts contained within the inside of the gumboil machine toy. She enjoyed matching it up (and perhaps mixing and matching the inner accessories) with her other Polly Pocket playsets. Then she enjoyed deciding how to decorate the toys' walls with the included candy pieces. Putting the dolls on the rides and having them shop for candy provided her entertainment for a long time. She also loves playing with the gumball machine part; turning the dial and having a prize/ you come out. This Polly Pocket Gumball Bear has absolutely changed that! The Gumball Bear is filled with mini or Polly Pocket sized gumballs that also double as blind bags! With 32 pieces and 6 blind bag gumballs this was an instant hit in my home. My girls literally played for hours with this toy! Clean up was also a zip as all the pieces can be stored both inside the playset areas and the gumball machine! So much fun and such a simple idea combined with blind bag fun! My child had a blast turning the handle and opening the gumballs, one by one, seeing what they had inside. The design is so cute and colorful. It is perfect for taking on a trip. Everything packs right back up into the gumball machine. My child loved that she could redesign the furniture and candy pieces in different ways. She has enjoyed playing with it very much. The moving parts adds a great touch. The chairs can spin or whatever you put on the pegs will spin. When it came she played with it for a very very long time. The only thing that she didn't like about it was that there were so many little pieces that she didn't know were most of them went and what she was supposed to do with them. We did enough eventually finding spots for everything but I almost feel like all of the extra parts and pieces were unnecessary. She had more fun just playing with the dolls and the gumball pieces at the other pieces were almost useless. All in all it's a very cute product. The top, sides and front all open as Polly Pocket play areas and come with a lot of fun pieces. The clear head has plastic gumballs that dispense. Both kids love playing with it. The plastic gumballs each have a play piece or person in them. I had to help open those but otherwise the kids could handle it all. Overall this is a really fun Polly Pocket - the unexpected fun was dispensing the gumballs over and over. There are 4 sections that expand and sometimes they are used as one magical land, other times different homes and locations. The toy has definite curb appeal - most kids love anything in gum ball machine format. The individual balls were a little tricky for her to open, but she managed with the help of her big sister. She also loved the included polly pocket dolls and the food cart. While this toy might not seem intuitively exciting to an adult, my 6 yo sat and played with it for hours.
