We don’t actually use it in the water, though, because I’m afraid of loosing the tiny pieces. Overall super cute and fun!</span>

My daughter had never had the pleasure of playing with a Polly Pocket before. The unicorn theme is of course a favorite and the function of the rotating unicorn head on the side of the compact was a great feature! We were a bit surprised just how tiny and fidgety all the little pieces were. My 7 yr old had a lot of struggle trying to fit the dolls into seats or objects onto the little tiny pegs to secure them. The color changing unicorn floaties were a big hit. The star in the pool portion that seems to be a launcher of some sort didn't really have a clear use. It could be used to sort of make some waves when there is water in it. My daughter seemed a bit confused by it. The fold down slide was fun, but also very hard to play with the dolls just sort of tumbled down it. The baby unicorn was adorable. It did fit in the little moon rocker/chair item, but in the seatnit only fit backwards and frustrated my daughter. It also is so tiny it very quickly got lost. My daughter also enjoyed switching around the decorative stars and moon, they were one of the few items that actually seemed to stick in place and stay. The lounge chairs were definitely cute, but it took us a while to figure out how to fold arms and legs to get the dolls to situate correctly. We were also disappointed by the lack of examples on the packaging, its great to use your imagination but when things have an unclear use it would be great to have more ideas or instructions on how it was intended to function. Overall it was a really fun toy, but interest will probably be quickly lost along with pieces because of the tiny nature of the product. It was also really hard for my daughter to fit all the pieces in the compact to store independently.</span>

She loves all the itty bitty accessories, figures, and scene options this toy provides. She really enjoyed the "pool" aspect and hot tub, using the pitcher to fill the areas, testing the color changing inner tubes, and sending the figures down the slide. The lounge chairs are adorable, she loves the clam with the pearl that she can open and close, and the rocking moon basinet for her baby unicorn. For the most part everything seems well thought out, but there was some rough plastic parts and paint was splotchy on Polly. I am also not sure how well the paper scene will hold up to the pool aspect of this set. It does have a plastic like finish but it doesn't seem very thick or durable. I have so far just made an effort to wipe out excess water before things are picked up and closed. She loves it though and it is a fun addition to her playtime!</span>

The highlight or best feature for this particular set is the water feature. There are no stickers inside to worry about water damage. The background picture is made of a medium weight plastic, totally water proof. We could only get the purple/pink floatie accessory to change color. The orange one stayed the same color for us (defective or too slight a color change?). However, the other floatie changed color perfectly. The polly dolls have rigid legs which allow them to bend at the waist, and sut down easily. Polly fits all of the accessories and seats. The other doll does not stay in the seats very easily. Her hair is bumped out and big in the back, which prevents her from locking into the seats. If you turn her head to the side then she can sit in the seats. Some of the accessories are slightly clunky and only fit in very specific places. Still my girls like this set because they like being able to add water. Normally they are worried about destroying the toy by adding water, but that is not the case with this set. It is completely water friendly.</span>

So this was a win win. The little pony ring/raft changes colors with warm and color water. It has a little storage area to store all the pieces.</span>

And pieces can get lost because they’re so small. The color changing feature is impractical to anyone younger than 7 since they need supervision, but it’s still cool to see. Nevertheless, she’s happy to add this toy to her collection!!</span>

I wish the box came with a diagram of where the pieces go, but a quick search solved the issue real quick. The play set holds water to turn the water into a swimming pool. There are some pieces that are just more decorative (unicorn and oyster), but they add to the vibe. All of the pieces can be stored in the play set when not in use. Overall, a nice compact toy!</span>
