The Stegosaurus comes with a red knob on his back, when easily twisted, moves the tail back and forth. His companion, Dr Grant is poseable.
This set is well made with realistic features (with the exception of the red knob) and I expect with survive my grandchildren. It is a wonderful compliment to their growing dinosaur collection which gives them hours of great pretend time.</span>

Even my four year old daughter loves to play with it. They crack up turning the little knob on the back to make the tail swing and knocking over other toys. It has had a lot of crossover play with other toy/movie characters lol! It’s very well made considering my kids are kinda rough with it since it is a big scary dinosaur (vs dolls, cars, etc.). The tail still swings and all limbs are intact. It even came with a little character and another little accessory that my kids can’t really figure out, but overall it’s a great toy and would definitely recommend!</span>

The thrashing action entertained my son on its own, but really added to the fun when he incorporated the mini Dr. Grant figurine and the leg and tail trap. The details on Dr. Grant were spot on and the details on the stegosaurus were bright and intricate for a little kid’s toy! The leg trap was a little tricky at first, but once he got the hang of it, my son enjoyed having his stego escape over and over! <span itemprop="description">We liked a lot of things about the compact, one of the main things was how many bits there are to play with! It has lots of interchangeable items, which extends play time. Polly and her sister have jointed bodies, easily handled by children, and they are able to fit onto the pieces. The whole product is well designed from the glittery feature on the case to the tree house and zip line. We use it on car trips, it is the perfect size to pop in a bag, and to entertain when out and about. The only negative point is that I could not fit all the many pieces back inside the case after play, so some had to be left when taking the compact out of the house.</span>

His favorite part is that there are many items that can be moved around to different places in the butterfly backyard and that it has a strap for easy carrying. It’s the same size and fun from when I was a kid! My one complaint is that it is difficult for my son to properly close it himself.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since my daughter is a big fan of Polly Pocket, she was very happy to receive this. There are lots of tiny accessories and things to play with inside of this set which is exciting and allows for more creativity, but I also think it may be overwhelming. My daughter wasn’t sure what to do with some of the pieces since she could not find a place for all of them or way to play with all of them at the same time inside of the compact. As with all Polly Pocket toys we’ve owned to date, I love that all of the pieces are contained within which increases the likelihood that pieces don’t go missing and that this toy can be taken on the go. My daughter enjoyed playing with this set, I’m just not sure if it will be a favorite that she goes back to over and over again.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hours of fun for my little girl. Parts are really tiny. That's to be expected since it is in fact a Polly pocket. Very detailed parts and pieces. My son is younger and not able to enjoy this toy. The small parts are really hard to keep track of. The clasp doesn't hold it shut very well though so the pieces have fallen out numerous times.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has a total of 6 Polly Pocket compacts in addition to this one. Most of them come with super fun accessories, but nothing like this butterfly backyard!! Everything it comes with has a use which thrilled my daughters imagination. The compact itself is big enough to hold everything inside which is extremely important for our family since we love to take toys on the go! Most of her other compacts do not fit everything inside of them which disappoints her. The compact is also durable and has enough spaces for everything to be set up so she can play and rearrange! My favorite part of the toy as a parent is that this set came with a little Polly Pocket and a bigger one so we can play as mom and daughter!</span>
