Love the design on this Pikachu. It has a good height and the material seems sturdy enough to last through play time with the kiddos. The phrases and movement were an absolute hit. I do feel like Ash though... this Pikachu seems to love to shock me despite having over 100+ reactions. The light up cheeks and tail are a nice touch as well. I do wish the tail lit up through the entire tail and not just the base though as the picture on the box kinda shows otherwise. Maybe a piece of L wire through it or outline? It easily fits in tiny hands or in the backpack without taking up to much room which means this goes everywhere with my little guy. There's 2 different modes that let you either discover or train your pokemon. There's 100 different combinations of things he can do so you will have so much fun learning them all and it's not a toy that you have figured out in 10 mins and then bored with. This will give you hour after hour of fun play time. There's 3 touch sensors on him and his cheeks and tail light up while his arms and ears move and he says 20 of the Pikachu sound effects and expressions that he's known for. Which are expensive and harder to find. There are tons of interactive touch combinations that result in giggles, sayings, or lights. The figure is smaller than I expected at inky 3 1/2&quot; in height, but it is still plenty fun. It is made of hard plastic so it is durable and does not have removable parts so no need to worry about choking. That being said, when I saw this interaction Pikachu, I thought she'd love it. She likes it okay, but I didn't get the response I'd hoped for. Even though, she has been taking it every where we go. We love that it has an ON/OFF button so batteries aren't wasted. After about a week, she plays with this more than her Elsa doll, so I'd say it's been the perfect gift. When speaking to family members about what she received for xmas, this is the first toy she mentions. For me, I like these better than dolls.
