My boys are in their 30's now and one of them has a baby girl. I decided to buy this for her since it reminded me of my childhood.The toy just died, I thought to change the batteries, however, even with various battery change, the toy never came back to life. It was great because she loved the music and it really lulled her to sleep. Now as a 2 year old, it takes longer for her to fall asleep, and the music doesn't last that long so we use a CD player. We switched it to just light.
