The box includes everything a fireman would need to fight a fire. The assembly was very easy because the illustration was clear and bags that included the parts were numbered. There were a couple of piece that required my help but for the most part my grandson was able to put the truck together. The truck parts are not flimsy and I love that the wheels are made of soft rubber and slide across my wood floor without leaving scratch marks. My granddaughter has autism and when my grandson turned on the lights and siren the noise did not bother her. He had a blast putting out those little safety cones all throughout the house while printing to blast out the fire with the water cannon. Once entirely built it's a well equipped fire truck ready for hours of fun play. Aside from the truck itself it comes with a variety of props (my little ones favorite is the caution cones) to keep those little firefighters busy. My only complaint is that despite the age range listed it is a little difficult to put together. There were a few bits even I had difficulty popping into place - I also don't love that the hose is a bunch of small tubes hooked together instead of just one long tube. I was so happy to see the noises the firetrucks makes are not so ear splittingly loud like a lot of toys. It lights up and is colorful and bright, it is a good size also. I looked at a lot of firetrucks but I specifically looked at the dimensions. This one is nice with that said I do have some cons. The ladder is not sturdy and keeps coming apart. I am constantly fixing it, which I don't mind but other parents may not be as patient. As other reviewers have noticed the doors do not open which would have been nice.
