It literally gives them hours of fun. It was very easy to assemble, my 10 year old was able to help with it. He gets excited when he sees ambulances or fire trucks so Playmobil City Action ambulance has really sparked his imagination and he loves playing with it and pretending. It has 63 pieces and they are all good quality. The ambulance has lights and sounds which he loves and he makes up different scenarios where he helps the little people that come with the set. The gurney and all of the little accessories are such fun to him and everything fits in the ambulance just like a real one so he loves putting the little people in their places and pretending to drive the ambulance to a hospital. I love giving my grandchildren toys like this because playing with them helps develop their manual dexterity &amp; hand/eye coordination. The wide variety of ambulance related items included in this set offer an abundance of imagination generated scenarios that will keep children occupied for hours. The 11.2 x 4.7 x 5.1 in Ambulance features siren sounds &amp; flashing lights which are powered by 1 AAA battery (Not Included). Playmobil includes 3 people figures, one female and one male paramedic and a female &quot;patient&quot;. The doors on the back of the ambulance open wide enough to fit the included gurney inside. The roofs of both the back portion and the cab are removable as well. All 63 pieces can be easily stored inside the ambulance between play sessions. Recommended ages are for children 4 to 10 years old.
