The game was super easy to assemble. The instructions were ok, but could use a little clarification. We had to read it a couple of times and then figured out that both players are playing at the same time and trying to paddle the pickle back and forth, with the hope that someone will miss and you can hit the pickle jar. The biggest problem I had was taking the game back apart to put it up. It is very difficult to remove the net and net supports. I was afraid I was going to break the playing board before it finally came apart. The game itself was very fun and I would say well worth the cost. I played a round with my husband while our children(ages 12 &amp; 14) watched, and we were all laughing and having a great time. Then we let the kids play, and they didn't want to stop.
