I liked the fact that the pacifier could be detached so they could be washed separately. However, I did not understand how to attach a soothie pacifier, which is what my baby was use to. She didn't like the ultra soft. I also didn't know what the plastic part at the monkey's mouth was for. It seemed weird to have the pacifier on the arm because then the mokey's face was in the baby's face. I'm familiar with other brands of these type of pacifiers and I think they are a great idea because they keep the pacifier from rolling all over the place when it falls to the ground and it gives the child something fun to hold/play with as the child gets older. I loved that it was detachable from the original paci so we could attach our hospital paci that are the only ones my son will you. (Also moms, DO NOT USE HOSPITAL PACIS, you can't replace them!!) With my next baby we will start with Philips pacis from the start! The soft animal was great and the perfect size and weight for my 4 month old. Plus it separates from the paci so you can wash each individually . She actually preferred the flexible shield over the harder ones because I think it is more comfortable on her cheeks when she sucks on the pacifier for long periods of time. The giraffe was soft and cuddly and she loves playing with it and since I'm always losing pacifiers it was easier on me when I was looking for it and I fond it was easier for her to find and grab when she wanted her pacifier. I liked that we could detach the pacifier and attach any kind because my daughter went through a short phase where she wanted the same kind her sister preferred so I could easily switch them out without buying a whole new stuffed toy. I don't like how the pacifier was attached to the foot because it was a bit heavy for my daughter to keep in her mouth when she was learning to sit up and at times would have some trouble finding the pacifier and took a little while to get used to it not being attached right to the mouth of the animal but she eventually figured it out and ended up really liking it. I hate how dirty pacifiers get and so I'm always cleaning and washing the stuff that go in the kids mouths. It was really easy to throw the animal in with the girls clothes and let it air dry and to pop the pacifier either in the dishwasher or scrub it off and put it in my bottle sanitizer when they were dirty and within hours they were good to use again. I absolutely love this product. My son is just learning to use a pacifier. It was very easy and convenient to be able to choose which type of pacifier he wanted to use. Very easy to clean, just tossed it in the wash with his baby detergent. I also was able to sanitize the pacifier easily. I also liked that I can just replace the pacifier every 4 weeks of use which is advised and not have to throw out the stuffed animal as well. Very convenient. My son loved to be able to hold the elephant. The ultra soft pacifier was an added bonus. Other pacifiers I have tried with him are hard plastic, this one seems a lot more comfortable lying on his face. I love this product very much and will be purchasing one or more :) As soon as possible! When it first arrived I was immediately impressed by the ability to remove the pacifier easily so I could clean both the pacifier and the snuggle animal separately. I washed the snuggle animal in the washing machine and the pacifier in the dishwasher and both came out like new. My daughter truly enjoyed the pacifier and snuggle. The elephant snuggle made it easy to find the pacifier and easy for my daughter to hold on to, but did not add so much weight that she had a hard time keeping it in her mouth. I also liked that that pacifier does not have an upside down, it makes it easy to pop it in her mouth without worrying if one side has more plastic and will rub on her nose. The ability to attach any pacifier or teether is great too because the snuggle part can grow with your kiddo and eventually just be a lovey when we don&rsquo;t use the pacifier anymore. The seal is beyond cute and so super soft!! The paci is similar to the one she&rsquo;s loved since birth so she really liked it. Both items were easy to clean. The seal can be washed and still stays soft. I use cleaning bags that go into the microwave to wash my daughter&rsquo;s pacifiers and it cleaned this paci very well. My daughter enjoyed both items...separately. When I put the pacifier on the seal, she&rsquo;d pull on the seal and her paci would come out of her mouth. She&rsquo;d get mad and cry. The paci/plush design is smart, but not practical. I don't know if it was because my little one didn't like the pacifier that was attached or the weight or balance of the toy was constantly dragging the pacifier from his mouth. However, I am THRILLED to say this was not the case with the Ultra Soft and Snuggle! At first, I believed my 3 month old son might not like the type of pacificier that was attached as he had only used a different type (without much success) that had been provided by the hospital. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was not the case, I could remove this pacifier from the toy and exchange it for my hospital provided one. Also, with the ability to remove the pacifier, I could throw the toy in the washing machine with the rest of my laundry and hand wash the pacifier. The Ultra Soft and Snuggle has become my son's one and only pacifier (I ended up using the one provided with the toy and not the hospital one)! I honestly don't know if we could function without it. It is the only pacifier my son will take now. A thing that I've observed about it is that with the pacifier being attached to the light-weight toy's &quot;hand&quot;, versus the head of other similar items, it seems to be better balanced. My 3 month old son can actually hold this pacifier to his mouth himself. Another huge plus is that with the toy attached to the pacifier it is easy to locate for anyone in the family. I can ask my 2 year old daughter to &quot;find brother's monkey&quot; and she can accomplish the task easily. The biggest plus: you can remove the pacifier to clean it! No need to put the entire thing in the washing machine, the pacifier easily comes off via a Velcro loop to sanitize which made me feel better about cleanliness of what my baby is putting in his mouth! I was a little skeptical at first because I thought the pacifier/plush combination was a waste; it didn&rsquo;t work well with my oldest so I hadn&rsquo;t tried for my second, two months old at the time. I have to say though, I was beyond pleasantly surprised! My son absolutely loved the pacifier and I loved the plush. Not only was the little monkey so cute, but it was amazingly easy to find- in the crib at night, in the car, anywhere the baby might throw it. In addition to not hunting it down, you can also detach the pacifier and wash the plush so easy. So when (because we all know it is just a matter of time) it got dirty, I threw it in the washing machine- no muss, no fuss. I love that I could kee using the plush with other pacifiers or switch it out. I believe the detachable monkey snuggle buddy, was not ultra soft. It was pretty stiff, not comfortable for the baby. Pretty heavy and kept weighing down. Baby was not able to keep pacifier in for long. It is pretty adorable though. The pacifier has definitely become my baby&rsquo;s favorite! She&rsquo;s 3 months and loves it! The idea behind being able to detach and attach the pacifier to the snuggle buddy is great! It does help not lose or misplace the pacifier. Just wish it wasn&rsquo;t so stiff. It&rsquo;s not &ldquo;snuggable&rdquo;. The fact that the pacifier is pretty simple to clean is great. The ultra soft, I&rsquo;ve wiped it down after a spit up and the spit up did not stick to it, which is pretty neat. The toy is light weight and easy for my baby to grab and hold. I personally loved when I had the toy attached because it allowed me to find the pacifier and the toy at the same time and since the toy is large and unique, I can spot it anywhere in the house. My little one absolutely loved this pacifier. This is the only one that she actually latches onto and keeps in her mouth! I have so many other kinds but this is literally the only one she will actually keep in her mouth and I don&rsquo;t have to constantly stick it back in which I think is do the the softness and size of the pacifier. In addition, I love that I am able to detach the pacifier from the stuffed toy for when I want to santize the pacifier and attaching the toy back on is so easy. It also helped to remove it especially during the night for when I didn&rsquo;t feel comfortable going to sleep knowing the toy was still on it especially for when I daughter wasn&rsquo;t a month old yet. The pacifier is extremely easy to clean and I feel that very little to no water actually gets inside of it that I need to squeeze out. The toy is also easy to quickly wash and it dries relatively fast for the material it&rsquo;s made from. All in all, I would recommend this pacifier to all my mom friends and I&rsquo;m looking to purchase a few more to keep around the house for my own kids.
