Unfortunately we had one major problem with it, the age range. It states that it can be used from 0 months. Our daughter was only seven weeks old when we started using the soother and we quickly found out that if she turned her head while lying down, the weight of the toy pulled the soother out her mouth. This caused frustration both to Ollie and to myself as she was unable to settle to sleep. Unfortunately not for the purpose of the product. I think due to having another brand of dummy from birth he just won't take this dummy due to maybe a different shape? The few times he has had it in his mouth he has ripped it out when moving as the giraffe has snagged under him. We have struggled to settle him back down with the same dummy when this has happened and had to resort to using his usual's. We have now removed the dummy completely and he continues to keep the giraffe to settle him! It was super easy to sterilize and he enjoyed having something to cuddle onto. I loved the design as some soothers can be rather large and leave a ring around babies moth this was not a problem with this one. Being able to remove the soother from the snugly is really helpful.
