Due to the poor performance in suction, I'm having more blockage and less milk the longer I stick to this Avent pump. Things improve after I switch to other brand breastpump and I only take half of the time I spend to extract milk in Avent breastpump when using other brand breastpump. I wish I have read online review before purchase.</span>

If you're on a budget this pump is a good option, it will do it's job. I would recommend springing for the double version to save time though!</span>

Small and easy to take along with you in a small bag. The only con I can mention is the fact that it is a single pump and not a double, therefore it takes twice as long to pump. I came across the handheld Avent pump which was handy but it took much of my time up so I continued to look around. It held up really nicely and plan on using it when needed if/when there's a 2nd child. I am still pumping twice a day and still love this pump! I have had it for about 2 years now and whenever I had an issue advent handled it right away and sent me a brand new pump with free 2 day shipping! The pump has multiple settings you can choose which makes it that much easier to get all your milk out! I have an over active production of milk and was prone to infections because I did not pump enough, when I pumped I never got an infection and my milk supply did not decrease. It is a very comfortable pump and easy to transport and store. The pumps are easy to wash and don't need a lot of maintenance, just a soft scrub with soap and you are all set! I can even store my pumps in the fridge when I pump multiple times a day. Bottom line if you are thinking of nursing or want to nurse and go back to work you need this pump!!! Avent also gives you a free 2 year warrenty that covers a lot of problems!</span>

Being a first time mom I was so hesitant about which pump to buy but i definitely know I made the best decision. <span itemprop="description">I loved this product, it was the 1st i had used n i think it was the most suitable for me, but after using it for over a month i noticed that it stop working properly unfortunately it must have been the motor.I used it as my number ine sorce since my daughter would not latch onto me directly. I tried the medla which is recommended by hospitals but it just didnt do it for me and i used the tommee tippee after that and that was a waste as well. Unfortunately i never tried to contact customer service for their help or recommendation wish i had my daughter took to formula soon after that. so i would say if u ever have any trouble contact CS im5sure they can solve your problem.</span>

Hello! Philips Avent Comfort Single electric breast pump SCF332/11 is battery operated. A new set of batteries provides 1-3 hours of operating time. Rechargeable batteries will lose capacity over time and may cause a decrease in operating time. Please note that If you have inserted batteries in the battery housing of the motor unit and plug in the adapter, the breast pump will run from on electrical power. The batteries cannot be charged in the unit.

Yes, it is a little rubber white piece in the neck of the bottle that only allows one way flow. ps- highly recommend Avent pump (easy use, cleaning) BUT get the double pump!!! I thought single would be fine and now 5 months later just paided for another -_-
