<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these bottles as a part of the Steller Product Testing Panel and was excited to try them as my son often has a lot of trapped gas and tends to spit up his bottles often or get extremely cranky. Overall, the bottles were easy to clean and put back together however the nipple was on the harder side so it took awhile for my son to adjust as he was used to using a softer nipple. Another downside to the bottles is that they can be tricky to put together and the anti-colic piece can leak if not placed exactly as intended. In comparison to other brands, they did a decent job reducing some gas and made my son a bit more comfortable after feeds.</span>

In his first ten weeks, he’s suffered so much and I was desperate for anything that might help ease his discomfort and his reflux. I received the Phillips Avent Anti-colic bottles as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I felt so hopeful that a new bottle might change our feeding problems. After using other bottles that had so many small parts, it was refreshing to use a bottle with so few parts. The nipples were big and firm which he seemed to like a lot. The bottles were small and light which allowed my baby to rest his hands on either side of it and self-feed. They were easy to clean and fit perfectly on my drying rack. I love that there was measurements for both ounces and milliliters. I don’t know if they helped my son in terms of colic relief, as the symptoms have remained, but they really are a great bottle!</span>

I love Avent bottles. They were the only bottles my first would take, and I’ve never looked back.
These bottles are easy to clean, easy to put together (I love the wide plastic neck), and easy to use. 4oz is the perfect size to start with and no issues with the nipples!
The only con, and why I took off a star, is that the bottle cap has two holes in it. I’m not sure if it’s for easier drying, but it makes me less confident about taking these bottles to go. Haven’t had any leaks yet, but knowing the lid won’t keep leaks in is disappointing. I also don’t love the thought that air/germs/etc can get in through these holes - not that I’m obsessed with sterilizing but holes in the lids defeat that! So I’d keep these bottles for home use, not for when we leave the house.</span>

I have a 2 month old girl who has struggled with colic since the beginning. She does have a sensitive stomach and has reflux issues. Finding a good bottle that will prevent air bubbles was a high priority for us, and we’d take any help we can to make our little girl more comfortable.
The kit arrived and we couldn't be more thrilled. The design definitely reduces air bubbles when bottle feeding however we found the flow to be a little fast for our little girl. In addition to the fast flow, cleaning can be difficult due to the extra parts. Once we got used to the extra cleaning and she got used to the faster flow the bottles were a great addition.</span>

One of my biggest struggles with my first two pregnancies was getting my kiddos to accept bottle nipples, especially after breastfeeding. The other bottles I’ve tried were clumsy, tough to disassemble and clean, and somehow always ended up leaving them gassy - and me tired.
These are a breeze, a world apart from others! My baby latched immediately to this Avent anti-colic bottle and I’ve yet to have any issues with colic or excessive gas. Best part is, these bottles are super easy to take apart and wash. Highly recommend to all parents!</span>

Con: caused some nipple confusion
When the Philips Acent Anti-Colic bottles arrived from Stellar Produce Testing Panel I knew exactly who I was going to try these on. We had twin boys in early January who spent 35 and 40 days in the NICU so bottle feeding was nothing new to them but one of our kiddos was having troubles with pacing himself and often spitting up more than he took in.
The nipple of the Anti-Colic bottles was much different in comparison to the Enfamil standard nipple the boys had become used to at the hospital. At first our son would sway his head back and fort, almost playing with the new nipple or trying to figure out what this change was. After slowly stroking his cheek he would begin sucking and drinking his milk.
Right away my husband and I noticed that his spit ups decrease a lot and our son was having less tummy aches. He was upset at times because the milk wasn’t coming out as fast as he was normally used to but he got used to it after a few days.
From a parents perspective cleaning the Anti- Colic bottles was much easier than the other bottles we have been using. The wide opening made it easier to get our bottle brush in and the bottles clicked in easily to our sterilizer that we put in the microwave. The lids that the bottles come with make travelling with them very easy as well.
One of the cons we have noticed is that our son is getting a little confused with his bottle nipple and the breast nipple. Prior to trying the bottles out, he had a strong latch and would latch right away to my breast nipple. Now he does the same head swaying we sometimes still see when he goes to the Anti-Colic bottles.
Overall we have been pleased with the bottles and would recommend them to friends and family!</span>

I have a reflux baby and I found that this bottle eased her burping situation; she would burp almost instantly. She took to the nipple right away and without a fuss. Another great feature of this Philips Avent anti-colic bottle is how easy it is to clean with the nipple popping right back in without the possibility of leaking. The nipple rings also fit other Avent bottles that I previously own which gave me the capability to feed my baby more than 4oz at a time. I also noticed that her spit up slightly reduced when taking milk from this bottle. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this product. I love, love, loved it and came right in time for me to try.</span>

I really love the simplicity of these bottles! They make washing and re assembling them super easy. Not too many small pieces! The size of the nipple makes it easy for babies to switch between bottle and breast. My little guy is a couple of months old, and did well on the nipples that were provided. This small size is also perfect for a younger babe, who takes 3-5oz per feed. Highly recommended these bottles for all babies, but especially for babes who experience colic, or are gassy as they don't allow a lot of air to be swallowed.</span>

It was too small for my 6 month old and wouldn’t last long past the first newborn stage, so bigger bottles would be needed soon. The bottle itself is plastic and has a bit of a cheap feel. The little anti-colic hole seems to work okay, and there are no complicated parts to clean - and that’s always a good thing. Given that they were so small we couldn’t get much use out of them - 4 oz is simply too little.

My daughter had pretty severe reflux and burping her was always tough (both on her and mom), but I found when using the Anti-colic bottle made a noticeable difference. She wasn’t in as much pain as she was using another brand name bottle. My only wish is that we had a larger bottle with perhaps a medium flow nipple (she’s a hungry girl so we had to use two bottles!!) Overall, I would recommend this bottle for babies suffering from colic/reflux.</span>

I used regular Philips Avent bottles with my older child and I like that these are a little thinner and taller than the older shorter/wider ones. I found them easy to hold and clean. Few, easy-to-wash parts which I like.
I also like that somehow this anti colic valve is kind of hidden and not an actual hole that I have to worry about drips or which direction I hold the bottle like some others I have tried.
I love that these attach right to my Philips manual pump and they fit perfectly in my Philips microwave sterilizer.
Unfortunately my breastfed baby wouldn’t take these nipples though. Tried so many times, not exactly sure of the reason. My older child liked this nipple shape and used Philip Avent, but the younger seems to prefer a flatter more bulbous nipple shape?
So since baby kept rejecting this bottle, unfortunately I cannot review any other features.

I have actually used these bottles for my oldest when she had reflux issues, however they rendered useless when she refused the nipple.
I tried these for 13 days with my youngest and he also hates the nipples. I have used other products by this brand and both children accepted them. Perhaps it's the shape?
The idea is wonderful, a bottle that reduces reflux and gas is exactly what I, as a busy mom would love! However my babies (unfortunately for me) couldn't get past the nipple... complete refusal.</span>

The nipple was a great shape for him to latch on to and he had no issues taking a bottle. It had great flow and perfect for Pacefeeding. <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 month old baby is predominately breastfeed, but does take a bottle everyone every once and a while when I am not with him at feeding times (or when I need a break). The Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle is SO easy to clean - it is my favorite thing about this bottle. The wide neck makes fitting any brush or sponge into it so easy. It’s also conveniently 3 pieces, while other Anti-Colic bottles I have used have been much more pieces, which makes cleaning a pain. My baby latched onto the bottle with ease and there was never any nipple confusion from the bottle to breast. I was given a 3 pack of these baby bottles to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and the bottles did come the level 1 nipple. I found the level one nipple to be a little too slow for my 3 month old. While the speed of the flow helped with reduce gas, I found my son getting frustrated while using it.
Overall this is a great product, and with the proper level nipple I think my son will be using these bottles frequently!

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a package of 3 Avent anti colic bottles (4oz) through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My little guy is 4mo and already taking bottles well. We tried these new bottles a few times and they were great, but I think at his age he needs a faster flow nipples. He latched well (but got a little frustrated with the flow) and was almost even able to hold the bottle on his own because of the short and wide design. They are SUPER easy to clean and put together in a rush. The longer nipple allows for less air to get into babies little tummies and results in less gas. All around a really good option for those looking to ease babies gas.</span>
