My little one, just shy of 3 months, had been using a different type of pacifier but we were interested in trying a different brand! These Soothie pacifiers are an adorable bear shape and come in pretty and calming colors. I really like the simple design, without all of the pictures and images that are often on other brand pacifiers. Other pacifiers&rsquo; designs are often gendered with images of pink hearts, blue trucks, etc. I loved the simplicity and gender neutrality of these. They&rsquo;re also super easy to clean. Before using, I put them in boiling water to sterilize, though ever since, I&rsquo;ve just been washing with hot water and soap. They&rsquo;re dishwasher safe, also. At the end of the day, for whatever reason, my baby didn&rsquo;t seem to love these. He didn&rsquo;t keep them in his mouth like he typically does with another type we&rsquo;ve been using. He didn&rsquo;t fuss but just seemed less interested in these. We used them with my daughter when she was a baby and now are using the soothie shapes with our newborn son. We have tried other brands but they both really like the shape of this one. I like them since they are easy to clean. We use hot soap and water and frequently sterilize them in boiling water. The bear shapes are really cute and I like that they come in a variety of colors too. I would definitely recommend these to other parents for newborns. I found that the design of this pacifier was incredibly easy to clean, since it is all one piece liquids do not get trapped inside so I typically hand wash with soap then drop it in boiling water and air dry. I think one reason he liked this pacifier so much is because he is breastfeed and the shape resembles the real thing very well! My little one found this so soothing especially in the early days when she wanted to be attached to me at all times and I barely had energy to do that. The only con is that they are a bit big. BUT, I think this is due to the fact that my &ldquo;girls&rdquo; are flat shaped, so my boys have all preferred flat similar designs. These are more of a pointy pacifier.
