For being made of plastic, it still seems very sturdy and should have some longevity. My most favorite part- it isn’t noisy and doesn’t require any batteries!! My son, 3 years.old, really likes cars and trucks and various vehicles, so he's enamored with this tow truck. The cab opens for easy placement of Grandad, and the tow truck arm moves up and down, so if your child gets creative, he really can use it like a tow truck. The pull-back mechanism is easy to use and powerful enough to propel the truck quite a far distance.</span>
