The little animals from various brands seemed too small and just not quite right. However when this arrived they immediately went to play The dog comes in an adorable dog house shaped box, which made it so much more exciting. The dog itself is soft to the touch and the legs sort of click to move them so they move into various positions easily. This makes it perfect for playing and moving the dog from sitting to standing or even mid walk. There is a leash attached to it already but can be unclipped easily just like a real leash. The kids had no trouble doing it themselves. Over all it's been an adorable addition to the 18 inch dolls family. The quality has been great with this brand and we already tested it's washing ability as someone left a mess on it. It was easy to wipe off with a baby wipe. I highly recommend for any animal loving kiddos or even for someone who just loves dogs. My little girl just fell in love with this puppy in an instant. She was so happy cause it looks just like our own dog but a puppy version. King Charles fur is so soft and plush. This cute little puppy is very possible and so easy for a young child to maneuver. It is so cute the poseable legs move so it could sit or stand or even look as it is walking.
