It. The toy comes with Bowzer and it was a hit right out of the package. The girls played with this for hours. You can purchase other sets to go with each other for even more fun. The play set has the bridge, so when playing you can imagine it's the game with the plastic Lava part in front of the bridge and built in back drop. The play set does come with bowser but the rest of the characters are sold separately. It does have lights and sound effects that add to the game play. When you push the button next to the axe, the axe goes down and the draw bridge falls just like in the game. It has an on/off switch on the back so makes noises. The bowser that comes with it is big enough to where you don&rsquo;t lose him all the time. You put him on the bridge and push the lever and down he goes. My kids can&rsquo;t get enough of it. The back drop is hard to get to stay in place, so we just don&rsquo;t use it. We could not get the Bowser back drop to ever stay on the toy set for more than a few seconds. It's usable without it, but it was definitely annoying. The falling bridge is cool and my 3 year old enjoyed it, but that's really all there is too it, so it didn't hold his attention for very long. The bowser figure was the best part. It&rsquo;s very well made and heavy duty. The other part was made well but was pretty boring to play with. The backdrop is flimsy and doesn&rsquo;t stay put together easily. If you pick it up wrong it falls apart and then the cardboard edges don&rsquo;t slide in easy.
