My son love, love, loves this new Nerf gun! It is lightweight but powerful. The foam bullets fly out&hellip;and at a decent distance. They can certainly reach the end of my garden and over into the neighbours behind us! The Nerf gun itself is safe for children to use and has given hours of fun outdoors this past week. Lots of shrieking and laughter heard while using this. The foam bullets are great and don&rsquo;t cause any injuries. The only downside is that I keep finding foam bullets around the garden, but it gets my son outside and off a screen, so I am more than happy. My 9 year old found it easy to load the foam blasters and pull the trigger back. We had fun blasting at some safe targets we set up on a table (plastic cups in a row) in the living room and was surprised at how far they shot out! The only downside was, to use the light, we found it needed to be quite dark in the room to see where the light beam was. I Didn't think it was really necessary to have a light but still had fun! The idea of a laser light on it put expectations up to a high point. In the whole the gun was light in weight and bullets were easy to install. The two bullet storage in the grip of the gun was also very handy according to my son. However the battery installation to power the laser light was a huge problem. First off there was no instructions as to where to place the batteries. After much searching of the internet we found it had to go in the underneath of the gun where accessories can be added. We then had to use a screwdriver to get this off, a child cannot manage this, it was very awkward and to be honest if we hadn&rsquo;t been reviewing the product, I might have given up at that point. After we got it all installed my son had a great time with it and said the laser light made for accurate shots. My daughter had a nerf gun a few years ago but it was kind of forgotten about. As soon as I took this out of the packaging she had grabbed it and was away! We were both surprised at how far the bullets went. The cat loved it too a he went off chasing the bullets! The added light was good too and also helped me know when I was about to be shot - unfortunately I was the target far too often! Overall my daughter has loved playing with this. The only slight downside is that it only holds two bullets but it is the smaller version so is understandable.
