Assembly was easy. Under an hour with two people doing it. The set is sturdy, sits even on floor and I can't wait to see our granddaughter's face when she gets this at her birthday party. Bench allows set to be more compact than four chairs would be. Instructions were good, all parts well marked, no parts missing or damaged. Included phone number if you needed help or more parts. I had to do some minor assembly, which wasn't too difficult. Some of the pieces didn't fit well and some pieces were defective. The people at kidkraft were more than helpful in replacing the defective pieces free of charge. It is a really nice table once everything fits right.
