They work great because they are a bit smaller than the hospital provided ones and seem to fit her tiny mouth a little bit better. I really like this pacifier. The packaging and design of the pacifier were the first thing I noticed, all made from sustainable resources. This was really important for me because I want my child to have as little impact on our planet as she can. I was able to also just take out the packaging and put it right into the recycle bin with no issue. The design of the pacifier is really cool too. Not only does it look great but there is no question which side is up and which side is down. So even when I&rsquo;m fumbling for it in the dark it I don&rsquo;t have to worry about if I have it right side up or not. My little girl took to this pacifier right away which was a relief. She is a big cry baby and this helped quiet and smooth her relatively quickly. My baby had no problem latching on to this pacifier and it definitely did its job to soothe her. My EBF baby is very picky about pacifiers and bottlers but took to this pacifier quickly. The nipple is molded to fit inside the mouth for sucking so it is flatter than other pacifiers that have the same nipple shape as a bottle. I think this feature helped my daughter adjust to it faster. She also found it easier to latch onto and keep in her mouth longer. She calmed and soothed quicker with this pacifier in comparison to others. As a mom with a focus on using products made with sustainable materials, this pacifier supports my goal of using products such as these exclusively. My only complaint is that the outside design doesn&rsquo;t allow her to put it back in her mouth when she&rsquo;s old enough to do so. That had to be my most favorite part of the product. It is made with natural raw materials as well It is packaged in paper board packaging using 100% recycled fibers. My only complaint is during the sterilization process. Water seeped in, and that caused water to remain in the nipple. My concern is that there could possibly be molding in the future, although we have not experienced that at this time. There is no way to drain the water out once the water gets in. The shape of the nipple hasn&rsquo;t changed for nuke, and that I like, as my child does take other nuke pacifiers. The only reason why am giving it 4 star rating is due to the water seeping in and not having a way to drain it. Overall, I really do like this pacifier. They have a simple design and I like that they don&rsquo;t have a &ldquo;handle&rdquo; like some do so my son has a harder time pulling it out of his mouth. These pacifiers are made of 100% sustainable materials and I couldn&rsquo;t be more thrilled about that! We are always looking for ways to be more conscious about our footprint and this is just one more way we can make a clean choice! My son(4 months old) is PICKY. He hates almost every pacifier we&rsquo;ve tried. He has one go to that he doesn&rsquo;t hate right now and the rest get spit out in less than 10 seconds, however this pacifier seems like it&rsquo;s becoming another hit! He took it to sleep for the first time last night and we have been getting longer stretches of use in general. I would love to cut the old pacis out and use these full time. The plastic portion is smooth with no sharp edges and I like how big the air flow holes are! Right away, I appreciated the eco friendly packaging and design! The nipple length and shape is also one of the closest to natural I&rsquo;ve seen yet. My baby is primarily breastfed and rarely takes a pacifier so I wasn&rsquo;t expecting him to like it much BUT he was actually intrigued with this one and sucked on it for a few minutes the first time. She loves the design and shape of the nipple and the heart shaped rim fits right under nose. I love that it's made out of sustainable materials - that is becoming so much more important to me as a mom and a consumer She is a very active baby and will do anything to avoid a nap, so the fact that this particular pacifier doesn't have a ring on it makes it harder for her to pull out and play with during nap time, which is a huge win for me. My baby is 3 months old and was previously using a different kind of pacifier before trying the nuk. With the nuk, I think they have the right idea in terms of it being sustainable and to help prevent orthodontic issues however, it didn&rsquo;t work for my baby. He would only keep it in his mouth for a second before spitting it out. It didn&rsquo;t help sooth him at all. I tried it for a week to see if he&rsquo;d get used to it but no luck. I immediately liked that it&rsquo;s made of sustainable materials and the design itself is really pretty and gender neutral. It&rsquo;s also easy to wash which is important to me. This is the first baby I&rsquo;ve had that isn&rsquo;t a big pacifier baby (she prefers to self soothe by sucking her fingers), but she seemed to like this pacifier as much as the other pacifier brands we had from previous babies. One of our biggest pet peeves are baby products that are hard to clean, but these pass the test! These were easy to wash, sanitize, and wipe down. When washing, water didn't leak into the mouth piece unlike other brands we have used in the past. I like to have multiple styles on hand to see which one baby takes to and sometimes this changes from week to week. The pacifier is lightweight, and came in sage green and light purple. The overall look of the pacifier was sleek and fashionable and the guard had spaces for breathing. The overall design was gender neutral, and would fit the aesthetic of either boy or a girl. The nipple is made on an incline and the spaces in the guard make the pacifier easy to attach to any clip. The size appeared to be within the standard range for pacifiers. It is made with100% sustainable materials. My daughter did not automatically take to this pacifier. When presented with the pacifier she will put it in her mouth and then spit it out. However, it is important to note that this is how my daughter normally reacts to pacifiers. The incline did not seem to entice her to use the pacifier anymore than another brand or form of pacifier. She does like this pacifier when she has strong desire to be sucking, and the pacifier will sooth her to sleep. However, normally we need to hold the pacifier for her until she is soothed and can maintain the sucking motion independently. Overall, I found the NUK for Nature Orthodontic Pacifier to be similar to other pacifiers on the market.
