She struggles with the traditional Barbie style (especially with the arms) but this one is bendable/flexible so it&rsquo;s easy for her to do herself without any help. This Barbie also has a soft skin texture that was a nice change from the traditional shiny hard plastic. It seems durable and comes with easy to use accessories. The shoes are easy to put on and do not fall off as easily as other Barbies as well. I was worried since it was called &ldquo;My first Barbie&rdquo; it might be redundant as my daughter has others, but she loves playing with this one so it was a great addition to the collection. She loves brushing her hair and posing her while playing. Doll has permanent sculpted panties and bra for modesty. My biggest issues are the pre-printed purse on the dress, I would have preferred it not be there at all. The shoes are also extraordinarily difficult to get on and off, which may be a plus for tiny hands that are always trying to pop shoes off, only to have mom, or dad put them back on a thousand times. Most importantly, my 3 year old daughter loved this! The doll is 2 inches taller than standard Barbie dolls (about 13.5 inches tall) and has a softer rubbery texture, which make the doll easy for little hands to play with.
