The dress itself has velcro closure on the back that will make it easier for new kids to change the Barbie’s outfit in addition to the shape of the dress (tunic/shift). The shoes are also easy to slip on. The balloon was made of plastic and will clip to the Barbie’s arm. The balloon itself is a pretty neat idea and sturdy too. The cute crown is a nice touch. And the birthday cake is plush with a handle for the Barbie’s hand.</span>
