The lack of small pieces make it perfect for younger girls who like to play with Barbie’s. My only complaint was that the outfit was hard to put in the Barbie. Since the skin is softer in the my first Barbie dolls than the regular one combined with he fact the dress is all on piece, make it difficult to get on over the Barbie’s legs.</span>

Can't really place should it be more a warm up outfit with the plastic tote which is non-functional or a slightly dressier but not fancy performance outfit for the doll. More suited for a 3-4 year old since the collar and buttons are only printed on, no sparkles on the plastic tiara and painted flowers on the bouquet making costume safe from tiny objects that could be potential choking hazards. However, these missing details make the outfit unimpressive. Wasn't enough to interest my 7+ year old to even open the package.</span>
