These are quite comparable to Diaper Genie. Yes, the material is thinner, but that just means you need to empty the thing out more. Why people stuff it full of diapers for weeks is weird and gross to me. They definitely are durable keep the odor contained. One concern is the refill didn't click in, so I wasn't sure if it was in right and it came out a little as I was pulling the bag through. Maybe it was a user error. The other concern I have, which I have with the name brand bags, is that they don't hold that many diapers. The bag is so skinny that I end up having to change it way more often than it advertises. Overall I would definitely purchase these brands since they work just as well.
