It is good on hard surfaces. The battery life, as you would expect, is shocking - got through 3 sets of decent branded batteries in a weekend. It has some decent speed behind it, chunky wheels and great manoeuvrability. It can also withstand being driven at full speed into all sorts of furniture (thankfully!), without damaging the truck or the furniture. It is a bit loud, so I prefer him to use it outside. Overall, I am impressed with the build and quality of the materials used in this product. It really holds up and has a lot of power. If you need to, you can wipe the tires and wheels with a damp rag to clean them.
