I think they did amazing recreating the original Monster High dolls, the quality on the clothes is very good, their hair doesn&rsquo;t have that ugly glue anymore, or at least it doesn&rsquo;t seem like it, their hair is very soft. They are very unique dolls and i know not everyone will like the monster theme but me and my kids love them! They aren&rsquo;t scary or dangerous in my opinion and it shows kids to accept everyone no matter their differences. Everything about this doll is amazing and for the price is so worth it! My only wish was the outfit is not really kid appropriate to me. They are gorgeous and so fun to play with. She loves that you can bend every part of their limbs and pose them just so. One thing to be careful of, the hands pop off at the wrists fairly easily. I didn't dock any review points for this because it doesn't completely break, it will pop back on. I'm not sure if the other joints do this or not but I assume they could since they look to be built the same as the wrists. My niece will be 6 in October and is deep in a wolf phase right now (costume, ears, tail, completely adorable) so Clawdeen is an ideal way to introduce her to a doll that's a little more sophisticated and has smaller parts and more articulations than what she's used to. I always worry about little parts and pieces getting lost, but she's a very responsible 5 right now, and is starting to introduce way more storylines and imaginative details into her playtime, so I know she'll love Clawdeen when she's just a little bit older. Little details I personally loved: Clawdeen's hands are sculpted with the cutest little claws! Her ears are on top of her head, but she still gets to wear little gold hoop earring accessories. I appreciate that she doesn't also have human ears, since the 4 ear situation throws me on some toys, and her face is overall sculpted really well and hair has such nice volume you don't notice that detail until you look closer. Her outfit is constructed well, and the glitter eyeshadow, bag, choker, peep toe boots and necklace bring the whole look together. The animal print, fur hood and fang lip treatment do a great job of implying her lupine origins without being too much, and she comes with a stand, so my brother will have a way to display her that's out of reach of his new one year old. She has been interested in Monster High for some time, but we previously had trouble finding the dolls. She has always specifically wanted Clawdeen, so we were very happy to see that there was a re-release of the original &ldquo;gouhls&rdquo;. The doll is nicely jointed for better movement, plus the doll stand. The hair is a nice quality and she enjoys brushing it out. She was able to get everything out of the package without any adult help which was nice. The clothes are a bit tricky to get on and off, but just the same with other dolls, she manages with some patience. We did find out by accident that the limbs can come apart, but they do go back together easily. She has now taken it where ever we go and makes sure not to leave it (unlike her other dolls) for some reason this one is special. It&rsquo;s easy to take off the clothes and put them back on for outfit changes. Quality is just as good as Barbie. The cat and purse accessory are good quality as well. She came with a doll stand, her cat Crescent, a small notebook and a doll hairbrush. My daughter loved playing with her. She was dressed in fun clothes.
