They love playing with them with their dolls and outside, so when I seen this toy I knew they'd love to play with it and they do. It is one of the toys they grab when they play outside. You can&rsquo;t do anything else with it. Whereas in the movie it gets put together and taken apart, so if you want to create the scene, you need to be able to take it apart. Having just the figure makes sense considering the whole franchise if about being creative, but it did not hold the attention of the Minecraft loving 8-year-old- however he did want to buy the entire set of figures shown on the toy packaging so that was definitely a win for marketing. As far as what was said by the 8-year-old about this toy he said, &ldquo;I like how you can make it sit and I love that it can be a friend when you are lonely&rdquo;. The colors and design of the character are spot on making it easy to recognize unlike some that are made by competitors. If there was a suggestion for improvement, it would be to make it so that it could be put together multiple times which would increase its ability to hold the attention of children. The collar comes off and there are two &ldquo;cubes&rdquo; with it. My son said they are diamond and water and I&rsquo;m taking his word for that. The figurine is somewhat posable. I like that it allows for imaginative play. With the Minecraft movie being such a big deal right now, my son loved this toy. She was immediately excited to see the details in the &quot;fur&quot; and the distinctive claws on the toes, as well as the collar with the wolf's name, Dennis, on it. This toy is small and is easy for her to put her in jacket pocket or purse, bring in the car, etc. The wolf came with two different size blocks and my daughter has enjoyed posing her wolf on them. She also enjoys the collar being able to easily go on or be taken off, Dennis finding his way home and getting his collar back, be ing adopted from the puppy shelter, etc. has been a big storyline for her playtime. Overall, she has really enjoyed this toy, and it has honestly surprised me just how much she has played with it. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because my daughter felt like the eyes look silly while the mouth looks mean and she feels that doesn't fit. She also thought the blocks are a bit flimsy. Dennis was one of my kids favorite part of the movie and it looks just like the movie Dennis. The cube is very accurate and fits nicely in the container. We like the collar is removable, and Dennis is poseable, and the details are perfect.
