Its a well built toy, the characters are cute with bright colors. My son is not into pretend play and story telling but he enjoyed the set. Lately we've been very much into imaginary play and this Minecraft aquatic defender set is perfect for story telling. They've been making all type of story lines with the Minecraft pieces and it's a real joy to watch. As far as there toys, they're very well made. I don't see these breaking ever. My daughter likes to use the figures as props when she plays with her dolls. It&rsquo;s his first actual set for minecraft and he loves it. He is already asking for more. These figures are super fun and a great size. When you open the box you get 6 bags to open which was nice. They showed what parts go together and he had fun building them. They were easy to build and fun to play with. It is more of a display than a toy. Yes you can take the creatures off the stand and play with them, but the fun factor was not there. After the initial excitement of opening the box, and putting the display together, that is where it stoped. Lots of fish that seem to have no where to go, the squid always falling over. The initial reaction was pure delight. The toys came in individual bags (like blind bags) which was fun, and they were much larger than I thought they might be, like the size of a child&rsquo;s hand. She enjoyed putting them together but they haven&rsquo;t gotten a ton of play.
