The size of Alex and his axe are perfect for being able to pose and place Alex where you like. His head has some up and down motion that can be entertaining also. The downside to Alex is the portal. It&rsquo;s useless as a standalone piece and only would be useful if you bought the other figures in this series to complete your portal. It is my opinion that most kids will lose interest in the accessories very quickly. because of this fact. Overall I give this three out of five stars. The arms can move and so are the legs. The head can rotate, but it can also tilt forwards and bit side to side around the neck. Seems pretty durable for children to play or for display. It also came with a pickaxe, which fit well on the right hand, but I had to help my kid push it a bit harder so it could fit on the left hand. The main reason he gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because without the other characters it&rsquo;s not especially fun or special. Having said that, he&rsquo;s very excited to get the other figures so that he can play with this toy as it&rsquo;s probably meant to be experience, i.e. with the netherportal which was what excited him about it in the 1st place.
