It is a great way to carry out son around and he loves riding in it. The description says 3 and up but our 1 year old loves it and is very safe in it. It would also be great for yard work and to carry things around our property. The sides come off if you want to use it as a flat bed. The wagon is well constructed. It has plastic sides, a wood base and is welded together with metal so it is very sturdy. There is an option to buy extra tires from Toysrus for $49.99 if the tires do end up wearing down. They are made from rubber so I expect they will last a really long time if not the life of the wagon. The assembly is very easy! It comes almost all assembled except for the hand and the sides of the wagon. The value is there for the money.
