The instructions are useless, just black and white pictures with no labeling. All the pieces should have been labeled and correspond with the instructions. We had to literally figure everything out on our own. Pieces are not flush and in poor quality. I will not return this because we bought for our son's birthday and it was too much trouble to put together but I would say this is way overpriced! While he loves it, the grownups have some gripes about it. This is supposed to be a train set and it only comes with 3 train cars and the train cars don&rsquo;t stay on the tracks well. The cars work better on the tracks. Also the crane hook is hard to grab onto the pieces with. Possibly a magnet should have been used instead of the hook. The track also slides around a lot and doesn&rsquo;t stay level for the kids to use. The storage drawer is fantastic with plenty of storage room inside. Overall our son loves it and that is what is important. The first table the joints don't line up and fit properly and the wood stain was patchy. The second table has the same issue with the joints and was chipped. The manufacturing of this table is sub par and very disappointing. What happened to caring about a products manufacture. We have had several kitchens, art tables etc etc and their quality is unbeatable. I have an 11 yr daughter and three boys 9, 7 and 3 who have used their products for years. So, I&rsquo;m not sure what happened with this product. Maybe we just u fortunately had bad luck and received a damaged piece. I loved how the table went together with the brackets. But our unfortunately had bent brackets and a broken support rail with a stripped screw. The wood was broken in half. I had to hammer the brackets back straight and pry other ones out. I had my own wood screw I was able to use to fix the broken part and I used wood glue to stabilize the broken wood. But, then it just kept coming. We were missing the entire mountain piece. The fire station part was broken at the joint and I had to wood glue that as well and the paint was missing on many of the pieces. The 3 pieces that had the plastic ball joints were snapped off so we couldn&rsquo;t even connect them. My boys were so excited and begged me not to return it and they are building it in their own way which they enjoy more than directions anyway, but I pad way too much for it to receive such quality. I assembled it by myself with a 2 year old hanging off my back and demanding my attention the entire time.. if you can read and follow simple instructions then this table should be a breeze. The storage drawer underneath is amazing. It's spacious, easy to pull out, and is perfect to store toys (or wrapping paper during Christmas time ) ! You can also flip the road panels over and use it for something else if the kids ever get bored of the track and you want to switch it up.. (maybe chalk paint or any activity.. use your imagination). The instructions for setting up the track and bridges could be a bit better, but in the end it wasn't bad to figure out.
