Actually both son and daughter play with this set. While I love the learning attributes to this set, I also hate all the small pieces. My kids tend to just lose and throw small pieces everywhere so we try to keep them in a ziploc bag to keep organized. The toppings stay in place thanks to the self-stick tabs on the chips, which adds a nice touch of realism to the play experience. The inclusion of felt cheese strands, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and protein pieces really takes the play nachos to the next level. My child loves layering the ingredients and creating their own nacho masterpieces. The attention to detail in the design of the play food is impressive, making it visually appealing and enhancing the overall play experience. The set also includes durable tongs, which are great for developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The wooden hot sauce bottle adds an extra element of fun and allows for imaginative play scenarios. One of the standout features of this nacho food set is the wooden storage tray. My toddler loves to pretend to cook and this toy didn&rsquo;t disappoint him at all. It&rsquo;s a great way to learn instructions with the one side of the menu and a great way to count and learn how to use money with the other side of the menu. The food pieces are are made of felt and the nachos are wooden with velcro on one side. The thongs help build fine motor skills as you put each piece of food on the nachos. This is a toy that I believe will last long and be used often. My kids love to play as chefs, as cafe and just store with groceries. I love it has different kinds of food that are made of different material: felt, wood, paper money. It&rsquo;s good for sensory development, also it has tongs that are perfect for gross motor skills. The idea behind it is amazing. Making nachos with different flavors, pouring ketchup(made of wood too) and counting money gives the idea of how money work. The only think I didn&rsquo;t like is it contains formaldehyde, which should be avoided in kids stuff and completely unnecessary. The ingredients were different textures and fabrics so it kept him occupied for a long time.
