<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I found some of the pieces to be a little weaker than other building block brands this was a great set for my daughter to build!
The instructions are clear and easy to identity which piece you need and is separated into bags of sections so can be done in stages. My daughter is 5 and was able to do most pieces (apart from a few small pieces) but attention span would mean this is suitable for a few years older.
We had great fun putting this together and liked the movement. This can be separate or added to the other pokemon collection. She’s asked for this on her wish list.
The only thing I wish is that the bag were made from a recyclable material. It seems a lot of the bags could’ve been sectioned together even more.</span>

The instructions were easy to follow and he was able to build it all by him self ( he's 8). There are other sets that you can build and play with altogether as we have a couple already. I think the added bonus of it having movable wings really gives it more play ability and is super fun. The set if compactable with other leading brands, which is great as you can then expand and make you own little world.</span>

He is building up a collection of Pokémon in his room and he got a new unit to display his Pokémon figures - so when he got the Dragonite set he was delighted. The instruction book is great to follow but there is also an online step by step guide too. Please bear in mind this does take time - but its so nice to see my husband and son building a bit every night after dinner - I love hearing them having conversation on it and they show me their progress. Great product for the Pokémon fans.</span>

It was a great father son bonding activity for us, it was tricky but the step by step intrusions helped. I don't think he would have been able to have done it without adult help (he is 5 almost 6) but it was an activity we wanted to do together anyway. Dragonite moves slightly so it's not a fixed model. He is really chuffed with it and we had fun building it together.</span>

I built it with my seven year old, and while I know it's recommended for ages 8 and over, it would likely be tough even for 8 year olds who may not be very skilled with building sets. While the instructions are better than other kits (my opinion), there are lots of small pieces that need very precise placement for the movement to work appropriately. That being said, it was a REALLY fun kit to build and I would highly recommend it for skilled builders who are Pokemon fans!</span>

The set includes an instruction book and several pieces in bags to be completed in stages. There are several small pieces so a child may need help from an adult as instructions are easy to follow but are very detailed. The set itself has a great deal of detail that is fun and displays very well upon completion. The wings will flap with a built in brick allowing the wings to move using a circular movement with attached bricks. My 11 year old was able to complete the set in a few hours with little help other than identifying a few small pieces correctly.
Overall i rate this set a 5 out of 5 stars.</span>

This build in particular has a lot of really small pieces and I don't think my children would have finished this by themselves - the Dragonite is definitely something you would have to help your children with if they're on the younger side like my kids. I think it would probably be great for older kids to work independently, but it was difficult for my kids to keep up and we had to finish it over three or four sessions.
I gave this four stars because our set came with the wrong part for one of the legs, as you can see in my photo. I know we didn't do it wrong because none of the leftover pieces would fix the leg. But I will say this has never happened to us before, so maybe we just got a weird set.
Even with the wrong piece on the leg, it still looks really cool. My kids struggled to build it but absolutely loved the final Dragonite. Definitely worth it if your kids are into Pokemon and like working with the Mega building blocks. Not to mention it's good for their brains!</span>

My daughter has really loved doing these kinds of sets lately and her younger sister likes to watch. This set took us about 2 hours to complete. It was not difficult but was hard enough for her to enjoy it and have to think, which is a double win. The movement piece is a nice little touch, she liked making him flap his wings. We have 7 of these sets now and plan to get more!</span>

We are more used to lego sets so we had bit of a learning curve to understand the step-by-step directions. They were a little too difficult for my 8 year old, so I helped him with most of it. Once together, it is a great toy. My son likes that the wings move and has it displayed on his dresser. It is also pretty big, about 10 inches from head to tail. My son gave it two big thumbs up.</span>
