At first we followed all the directions and made exactly what was on the box. That was a whole lot of fun in itself but we also had the possibility to create using our imagination. My children, ages 6-10, all enjoy building the figurines and battle backgrounds. I enjoy playing too! Includes instructions and the bricks are separated into bags. You can also use the box for storage. My daughter is 7 and she loved this set. I like that she can play with this all the time. The blocks are well made and very colorful. My daughter loved it because Eve was in the collection. Personally I didn&rsquo;t care for the box it came in. It didn&rsquo;t grab her attention at all. It is a neat product though. She was disappointed that it didn&rsquo;t come with more figures. He told me that it was great that he was bale to follow the instructions to build, but there was also enough to make other characters. He was able to use his imagination to build other Pokemon characters out of the remaining blocks that were provided. My two children (8 &amp; 7) have been playing with this all day during the snow day that they had today and couldn't be happier.
