I say this because of the realistic appearance and extreme malleability for positioning is ideal for posing. My son's opinion is that is great and the instructions are easy to read but he and his friend agree that it's a little hard to put the pieces together. I help them at some point because pieces needed to put together with a little more pressure. He loves Pokemon, so the toy clearly caught his attention. He is 7 years old and can usually do this type of building activity on his own, but he did need some help interpreting some of the instructions (a few of the steps were not clear or required him to do multiple things at once). The build itself was straightforward for the most part, although we did find that is can be tricky to get the pieces to &quot;click together&quot; at times - at times even identical pieces had to be used in a specific spot or it would not stay in place/would fall apart. However, it became difficult as some of the pieces didn't stay together very well and others were just tough to snap into place. Also, the bags were not initially marked, so you had to open all three of them to find the pieces you needed. The end result is good, but it required my help and some frustration along the way. In many playrooms, it&rsquo;s bound to the eventual mixing of the bricks and for the most part they were compatible, but that&rsquo;s where the similarities end. Mega Construx&rsquo;s Pokemon Kadabra is one of the better character-designed models I&rsquo;ve seen from their Pokemon lineup. Once complete, it looks like the character and even comes with its signature spoon. There are 2 pieces of a more flexible plastic which add a nice touch to the aesthetic and playability. The instructions were actually nice to follow with the color-coded brick nubs and brick colors that matched the actual brick, something of which is not as apparent in many of Lego&rsquo;s instructions. This set even comes with several extra pieces in the event you lose some, but I&rsquo;m not sure if this was intentional or random since the pieces were not all that uncommon to find extras of from other sets. Now for the less desirable aspects of this set&hellip; There&rsquo;s something about Mega Construx&rsquo;s brick designs that just don&rsquo;t mesh well. Some pieces fit very snug while others just plain forget they were supposed to snap together. This proved to be very frustrating for my 7 year old while putting this together, as some parts just would not snap in for him and required force, while others simply just fell off. It was very entertaining to put together. Once we put it all together, we had fun with it. The instructions were easy to follow.
