He loved all the cool features and how easy it was to build and take apart. Funny he is a a MAJOR Pokemon fanatic. With that said, he is very much into constructing and building objects. He was so focused and spent a fair amount of playtime absolutely quiet and was concentrating on construction each Pikachu character. This set is great because you not only get one but THREE Pikachu characters to construct. My son didn't need too much support to assemble and construct each character. Pretty straightforward. They were really excited when I surprised them with this Pokemon Lightening Pack set. I love that it came with 3 figures to build so they both could work on their own. The directions are very easy to understand and follow. I find these kits very engaging and keeping the kiddos wanting to focus and finish the project. The end results are pretty cool and look cute. Lego doesn&rsquo;t do pokemon so this is the only game in town. It did take him a long time too do it. It did take him awhile because there are a lot is pieces. I like that these construx are bigger than the other pokemon construx, so they feel more sturdy. He has been building Legos for a few years and would say he is pretty proficient at it, and this was a challenge for him. It took him multiple hours to put all the Pokemon together. If your child does not enjoy or isn't very good at building them, this is definitely not the toy you want! All my kiddos liked it. You get all three evolutions to put together! And they can easily be displayed and posed! I highly recommend for any kiddo who loves Pok&eacute;mon or just loves to build with Legos. Hours of internment as they build and play with all three of the evolutions. And they are a bigger size also.
