He watches all the old 1980s he man cartoons so he knew exactly who these characters were! The directions were easy to fallow and we'll written!I believe that this product will last a long time the only thing my son had a issue with was he man's chest plate it fits very snug but I think it will last longer due to this ! Great job Mattel! It was not difficult to piece together at all. I feel its very durable and loads of fun. All 3 of my kids enjoyed putting it together and having turns playing with it. Definitely something to keep them busy and imaginative. The toy is for ages 8 and up and comes with 173 building bricks. The set includes He-Man, Roton, and Battle cat. My 10 year old son put the set together in about 15 minutes. It was easy for him to build and the quality is excellent. He plays hard and this set has held up well. I highly recommend this set for anyone who enjoys building sets or Anyone who is a fan of Masters of the Universe. It is an added bonus to see something that I enjoyed so much from my childhood being enjoyed by my kids! My nine year old son was the one who opened it and put it together. The characters have movable arms and legs. The Roton actually shoots, and Battle Cat&rsquo;s helmet comes off. My son put this together very easily. One thing that was a little difficult for him, was that the pieces were harder to pop together and they fell apart a few times. The Roton is a fierce looking vehicle and the details are really fun for battle. Nimble fingers well help with building this play set. I think an interested 6 year old and older would love it and find it to be an interesting challenge that is still fun and entertaining. Dad enjoyed reminiscing about his childhood Masters of the Universe toys, so that added another layer of happiness and fun to the experience of constructing. Also as you are going through the steps to put them together, the bags aren't labeled as to which step the pieces belong to so you have to empty all the bags out at once and pick through them to find the right pieces. Kinda time consuming. The blocks themselves are also a bit difficult to snap onto each other unless you get them lined up just perfectly so for an 8 year old trying to put them together got a bit frustrating and needed a bit of help sometimes. The figures are movable which is amazing but when you try to put them onto their stands their legs move so much that its hard to get them on. The Roton character is really fun because the spikes turn around as you push the character forward using the wheels on the bottom of it. It also has two gun things that fire the little red circle piece one on each side which are really cool.
